DAVID RHODES

CHAIRMAN OF BITCOIN ON BASE FOUNDATION

David is the Chairman of Evergreen Fund and the CEO of US Safeguards, a public benefit company focused on preventing overdose deaths. David is an American business leader and advisor with a global footprint amassing experience in 156 countries spanning the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, The Americas, China, and The Asia Pacific Rim. A former Chairman & CEO in commercial banking, investment banking, and private equity, David held C-suite and board roles in financial institutions, managed private equity portfolio companies across diverse sectors including healthcare, hospitality, energy, and infrastructure. In the Middle East and North Africa, David oversaw 117 financial service companies in 22 countries. He served as Chairman of the investment committee and directed the family office for the Al Sabah Family, the ruling family of Kuwait, during his tenure with KIPCO. David holds an MBA from The Johnson School at Cornell University and a BA in Economics from The University of Rochester.

BRIAN JOHNSON

MANAGING DIRECTOR OF BITCOIN ON BASE FOUNDATION

During Brian’s 18+ year career in real estate investments and lending, Brian has developed deep expertise in business management. He served as Director of Operations, Major Accounts, for Genesis Capital, LLC., the leading value-add capital partner for the nation’s top residential real estate investors. In 2017, he and his team closed $1 billion in total loan volume which lead the company’s acquisition by Goldman Sachs the following year.

MICHAEL SILBERMAN

CFO OF BITCOIN ON BASE FOUNDATION

Michael co-founded and took public with a highly successful IPO, the first social network for the U.S. Hispanic community and also led a successful public offering of one of the nation’s Top-10 fastest growing companies. He is a Crypto investor and evangelist and co-founded Firepointe reimagining charitable giving leveraging chains and digital assets. Michael holds a B.A. in Economics from UCLA and an M.B.A. from UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management and is an active California licensed CPA.

RACHEL BRISSENDEN

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OF BITCOIN ON BASE FOUNDATION

As a business development professional focused on partnership and sponsorship acquisition, Rachel drives growth and educational initiatives in the Web3 space. Rachel is a human-centric builder and entrepreneur with years of experience in the blockchain industry, currently focused on developing the Base ecosystem. Specializing in business development and partnerships, she is also a bestselling author, co-authoring “Impact Entrepreneur.” As a co-founder of Women on Base, Rachel is dedicated to fostering female inclusion within the industry. Some of her work in blockchain education has been featured in Forbes, and she has become a global public speaker, advocating for the advancement of the blockchain industry. In addition, Rachel has hosted and curated over 200 Twitter spaces, strengthening community engagement, and has been a multi-year speaker and event organizer at events like ETHDenver.

MATTHEW MEAKIN

CHIEF INNOVATION OFFICER OF BITCOIN ON BASE FOUNDATION

Matthew Meakin is the Chief Technology Officer at the Evergreen Fund, where he leads the charge in technology and innovation. Matthew serves on the Board of Directors at the Bitcoin on Base Foundation, where his expertise in technology and innovation is instrumental in guiding the foundation’s strategic initiatives as well as collaboration with the Evergreen Fund.

DUSTIN LAWLER

IT OPERATIONS MANAGER OF BITCOIN ON BASE FOUNDATION

Dustin has worked for the Department of Defense (DoD) for 15+ years managing multimillion projects across the globe. He has served as an IT Operations Manager for the Aviation and Missile Command Center (AMCOM), Medical IT Project Manager for the Army Corps of Engineers, and as a Program Manager while volunteering for an overseas assignment in Bagram, Afghanistan to manage multiple teams throughout the country. Dustin holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Athens State University and an AAS in Engineering and Design Technology from Northwest Shoals Community College.

Bringing Health Care Onchain

Evergreen Fund is working with the Bitcoin on Base Foundation to create a supportive community and provide financial incentives for healthy behaviors by bringing health care onchain.
